GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT,
This review is from: Fiddlestix in Canister, 144 Pieces (Toy)
MY SON RECEIVED THIS FOR CHRISTMAS AND HE PLAYED WITH IT ALL DAY. HE CONTINUES TO LOVE IT. EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE LOTS OF PIECES THEY ALL FIT BACK INTO THE CANISTER WHEN HE'S DONE PLAYING. IT MADE A GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT

My grandsons immediately started building various things with their Fiddlestix once all the gifts were opened at Christmas. The three boys each built a different structure. There is adequate variety in the canister for them to all be busily happy.

They are very fun for creations.
On the negitive side: I think the process of putting them together or taking them apart is a little hard, they will break with to much pressure put on them. I think any children under 6 or children that are not very cordinated could easily break these. Overall a great toy though.

I got these for Christmas for my kids, they have a hard time getting the long pieces pushed into the other pieces they fall out. Plus the color tranfers from the Fiddlestix onto their hands, and it will NOT come off completely with soap and water. It says non-toxic on the can, but it also says they are made in China which now has me concerned.

I love the idea of this toy and I had fun building the different structures with my son. When he tried to assemble and disassemble this toy by himself, the pieces easily broke. The sticks and the round circular pieces had cracks and the pieces broke off, so this toy is very cheaply made and can't withstand pressure from little hands. I am disappointed because we really loved this toy for the whole 2 days that the pieces could be used.

Our 3 year old son plays with these for hours at a time. They promote his imagination and coordination and keep him engaged much better than most of his toys. Even our nine year old daughter loves to build with these. They aren't the most durable toys. The tips of the wood sticks break off. I've glued several back with wood glue. I'm here buying a second canister because these get used so much.

My parents bought my boys a canister of fiddlesticks about a year ago, it took them about 10 months to play with them, but once they did they were hooked. I bought this large canister to add more pieces because with three boys playing they need quite a few pieces (their favorite construction is guns to shoot each other with ::sigh::) I am a bit disappointed as this canister does not seem nearly as durable as the first canister although they are the same brand. Many times just trying to pull apart an old construction to make a new one, one or more stick will break. My kids love them ages 3, 6 and 6, so do the neighbor boys (5-8 yrs)

We have collected several hundred pieces for our grandchildren to construct with, the 6 year old just made a ferris wheel and won blue ribbon in our county fair. Endless amount of building opportunity and hours of fun building with papa. (I had tinker toys as a boy myself, wanted the all wood, no plastic set.)

My rambunctious 4 yo son received this for his birthday. He loves building new things every day. We help him build the more difficult ones, though. This is one toy that has great repeat value and will grow with him. In terms of durability, we've had two pieces break in the last two weeks. I've been able to fix both pieces with some strong wood glue.

Seems like a great toy. Purchased for my granddaughter age 3. Very hard to put the sticks in the holes. Maybe will work when she is older.
