This review is from: A Field Guide to Sea Stars & Other Echinoderms of Galapagos (Galapagos Marine Life Series) (Galapagos marine life series) (Spiral-bound)
The book arrived three days in advance and in excellent conditions! I recommend this seller and the book!

I haven't read the entire book yet, but I have used it to compare some species. The book has brief comments on each class (2 pages) and, for each species, there are short morphological descriptions, habitat & range information and good overall photographs (few structures are detailed). It comprises 15 species of asteroids, 12 ophiuroids, 17 echinoids and 18 holothuroids (including pictures of ossicles). It is a good guide, especially for those who want to see the diversity of echinoderm species. But for those who want to use it just as an identification guide, it is useful only for pacific areas, since most species do not occur in atlantic waters.
