A much needed field guide to Indiana wildflowers, December 8, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Field Guide to Indiana Wildflowers (Paperback)
This field guide to Indiana wildflowers should be a valuable reference for both the professional and amateur botanist. The species descriptions given are adequate to distinguish similar species in most cases. The ranges given for several species appear to be inaccurate.

A must have for those of us in Indiana who want to save the flora!, June 13, 2007
This review is from: Field Guide to Indiana Wildflowers (Paperback)
This book is an excellent source of native information. I combined it with several other books I have, along with additional photos of plants I am particularly interested in which I downloaded from Yahoo images. The only draw back to the book is that I needed more pictures to help identify the plants but as you can see, it was easily fixed!

OK book for information., April 25, 2010
This review is from: Field Guide to Indiana Wildflowers (Paperback)
This is NOT the book for identification of an unknown plant/flower. It's more for confirmation. It's system is very complex. One must already have a good idea as to what the flower/plant is in order to use this book. I recommend buying another field guide for identification purposes.
