Very Nice Melodic Prog, January 24, 2007

I really like it a lot. These guys are from Germany and I think that this was their first album. The songwriting is strong, and the band has a great vocalist. The songs are catchy as hell, but retain enough prog elements to make them credible from a figurative standpoint as well. This is a "song" oriented prog rock album with the majority of the tracks clocking in the 5 to 6 minute mark. It is one of those albums that after you listen to it several of the songs continue to run through your head. Examples of this are the title track "Field Of Names", and track number 9 "The Readiness Is All". I know they have done at least one album since this one, but I have not picked it up yet.
