Feels Great in the Hand !,

This review is from: Field and Stream Tracker Knife FS-1630 (Sports)
I have the all black version which has a different looking case. I just use it for cutting and small wood carving but it would also make a fine skinner due to the shape of the blade. The blade is thick and has a hollow grind but isn't too delicate. This is a nice EDC that is very sturdy and the rubber handle gives a sure, comfy grip - it really feels solid in my hand and I'm tempted to put it to harder use. Both blade and knife body have thumb jimping for better control. The blade can be kept tight as the fastener is adjusable even though it looks like plastic. Don't worry though, it is a metal fastener and works great. It snaps open smartly with the help of the smooth thumb stud and locks in place with a nice snap - cool. The case is heavy nylon, not cheap, and should last a long time - not the one in the picture though. I got it at Dick's not Amazon.
