Product Description

From Children's Software Revue® -- "Subscribe Now!"

The graphics are a bit disappointing, but this is one of the most fun and accurate fishing simulations we've seen, with 25 realistic lakes. Like the previous version, there are several modes of play, including a free fishing mode and tournament play that lets you compete with other simulated anglers. To win, you must consider the weather, season, water conditions and many other factors that affect how real bass act. New features include the ability to compete with friends over a modem or local area network, a photo album and an underwater or anglers view. This update also has a regional division level and offers tougher opponents in career play. We noticed that the graphics are improved in this version, with better fish fights and lure action.

5.0 out of 5 stars Trophy Bass 4, June 15, 2000
This review is from: Field & Stream Trophy Bass 4 (CD-ROM)
I got this book for my birthday and absolutely love it. It is a wonderful game, with tons of kinds of fish to catch, real life lures, and real lakes. The fish fight like in real life to, real life conditions, everything. This game has all the delights and challenges of fishing right in the comfort of your home. Buy it, of regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Field & Stream: Trophy Bass 4 will get you 'hooked'!, April 15, 2002
This review is from: Field & Stream Trophy Bass 4 (CD-ROM)
In the UK, as it could be said around the world, fishing has been described as THE favourite outdoor pastime and 'Field & Stream: Trophy Bass 4' has brought the thrill of the catch to the confines of your lounge.

It features over 30 species of freshwater gamefish including Stripers, Walleyes, Catfish and Muskies.

On your boat, you will have 1000's of rod, reel and lure combinations available to you along with underwater sonar, map and compass and two kinds of motor propulsion.

You can play either single fishing trip, career mode or even online in the multiplayer link-ups, fishing on dozens of reknowned lakes throughout the USA.

There is so much to this game that I cannot begin to give it justice. I'm 'hooked' and I can't even fish for 'reel'! (almost a pun there).

5.0 out of 5 stars I can't fish worth a lick but I love this game!, August 13, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Field & Stream Trophy Bass 4 (CD-ROM)
I got this for my husband and I think I've played it as much as he has! I love it! I am no good at fishing, so I put it on "easiest," and it is so fun! I just do it to catch fish and have a little fun, so "easiest" is a good level of difficulty for me ha ha. When my husband asked for this for his birthday, I thought, "eeewwww. Well if that's what he wants..." and now I monopolize it! It's great fun, even for the non-fisherman/woman.
