I recently went to a gun show and cases like this one were selling for $45. So when I saw this one for for just under $20 I decided to act quick and order. To my surprise this case is just as good as the higher priced ones. There are multiple compartments to stash mags and other essentials and in addition to the carrying handle there is also a shoulder strap ( not seen in photo ) that can be used if desired. The padding is sufficient and will accommodate hard to fit carbines. I would order this again.

Anyone thinking of getting an assult rifle case for their assualt rifle can't go wrong with this one. For the price it is an actual steal. Too bad you don't get a better picture of what your buying from this small picture on this site, but don't let that fool you, you're getting a top of the line case. I bought another one at a Gun Show while I was waiting for this one to show up and unfortunately I paid twice as much thinking that it was better quality. Boy was I wrong, this one by far is made better, is taller, deeper, more padded, and the access to the individual outside pockets are controlled by individual flaps where the other one I bought has one big flap to gain access to these outside pockets. This one also has a padded shoulder strap, which is a extra plus.

I ordered this one for my GSG-5 because in the configuration I have my gun, I have a forward grip that turns into a bi-pod and a scope with see-thru rings which make it too tall for any of my hard cases. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else, buy this one before they raise the price. I'm going to buy another one for my Colt M4 carbine. This case rocks!!!!

The case that I already had wasn't tall enough for my AR-15 after I added the scope, but it fits just fine in this one.

Well padded, very good quality zipper, velcro, nylon strap and handle material.

Comes with a very nice padded shoulder strap though not pictured.

The 42" was perfect for my Colt AR15 Sporter Match HBAR with scope

I'm going to buy another, you better get one before there gone......

ONE BIT OF CAUTION!!!
Be careful when opening the main case with the zippers for the first time. The right zipper may hang on the little white tag inside the case that says "spot clean or hand wash bla bla bla".... After opening the case, I highly recommend removing this "tag". I was lucky and had no problems the Winchester case but I have experienced this problem enough to know the feeling of a zipper that is hanging up on something... and that something needs to be removed!

One more thing... this is one of those good buys that made me say to myself. " this case was such a great deal, it just made up for a few of the times I took a screwing via misrepresented online purchasing. ;-) Cheers, Ron

I bought two of these cases and am more than satisfied. I highly recomend them. The magazine pouches will fit an AK-47 30 round magazine. If you want a good soft case this is your best deal!

IF YOU HAVE CONVERTED YOUR SKS TO A TAPCO T6 FUSION, THIS FITS LIKE A GLOVE. AND ENOUGH ROOM IN THE POUCHES FOR 250 RDS. OF STRIPPER CLIPPED AMMO.

I purchased the Winchester Gun Case for my Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Assault Rifle. What a FANTASTIC case! It's a quality product, and very well made. Nothing cheap about it, except for the Price, and I would call that Inexpensive, rather than cheap! I bought the 38" case, which I had thought might be too big. However, with the 6.5-20x50 Scope, 8"-13" Folding Bipod, Tactical Stock extended, and Forward Folding Hand Grip mounted on my rifle, it fits in there perfectly, with room to spare. It has two zippers which are easy to slide and don't bind on the corners. The 5 velcro pockets on the outside of the case, will easily hold my 5 25-round Magazines. The carrying strap on the back, will be good in the event I need to sling it over my shoulder to carry it. I like the way the strap is sewn into the case, and is part of the case, rather than just cheaply hooked or sewn on like other cases I have seen. The thick interior padding is much better than on any other "QUALITY" and "MORE EXPENSIVE" gun cases I have seen, namely the two cases that my wife has for her rifles. The Winchester Assault Gun Case is MORE than a bargain! I'm glad I bought one, and I am thinking of ordering another one, for the AR-15 I'll be buying in the near future. Are you kidding? Guys that rate these down because they don't have internal straps or other features: THEY'RE TWENTY BUCKS!!!!! Jeesh.

As has been covered before, excellent thick padding, sturdy construction, good solid zippers. Includes a shoulder strap (that I'm not presently using). I got 2 38" cases and one 46" for my 24" bull barrel; they seem very uniform, quality is good on all three. You can't do better for the money. And for my money, you can't do better at all. These provide everything I need in a gun case.

<ADDED Jan 16, 2011> I built another AR, this one with a 20" barrel. Needing a case for it, I came right back here and ordered the 42". Now I've got all three sizes, and I don't have complaint #1. The 3 cases I got before have been to the desert a number of times, and they just work. I wish they made a plain jane scoped rifle case for my bolt action rifles, I'd be all over that! Highly recommended.

For a 16" carbine, get the 38", for a 20" rifle with the A2 stock, 42" fits perfect. For a 24" bbl, 46" case is the one.

This is a great case for the money to carry your rifle ( I have an AK-47)for every day use. If you want to "Rambo-up", then spend more but if you are not anticipating WW3, then this case will do nicely. The magazine pockets hold a 30RD mag without problem and the zipper is solid.

Was looking to get a decent case to protect and easily transport my AR LMT. Purchased this 38" after reading the numerous positive reviews on the Winchester brand. Easily stores my AR which has an Elcan C79 scope mounted. Good foam protection with multiple outside velcroed storage compartments. Lockable heavy duty dual zippers addressed security issues. Embroidered Winchester logo is an attractive design touch making this affordable soft case a sleeper among other more expensive alternatives. Despite the affordable pricing, this is a high quality item. Purchased another 42" case for my Sig 552. Perfect fit again providing ample protection.
