5.0 out of 5 stars A very good repsention of Mr. Fields work., May 30, 1999
This review is from: Fields: In the Mood/Golden Classics (Audio CD)
As a teenager me and my Girl freind now my wife always attended Erine Fields dances when he would play the Sky-View dance hall in Duncan, OK in the late 1940s.

WE LOVED HIS MUSIC.

This review is from: Fields: In the Mood/Golden Classics (Audio CD)
Bought this LP back in the early 1960's and was happy to find it on CD since I traded my LP copy years ago and missed hearing this music from time to time. One reviewer called Ernie Fields a "One trick pony" on this recording and I would have to agree with that. But a large number of my favorite recordings are one-hit wonders, which also fall into that category. So, now and then I put this CD on and just let it do it's magic to uplift me for the day and then place it back into the rack for another time. That's enough for me to justify owning this CD.
