From addiction to awards and fashion faux pas to first night nerves, Kelly's entertaining account of making mistakes and learning from them is full of practical advice for young women
This no-holds-barred account of Kelly Obsourne's upbringing is as shocking as it is disarmingly funny. From stories about her father's alcoholism to pushing over porta-potties on tour, Kelly unflinchingly deals with the extraordinary experiences that have made up her life so far. She also includes music manager Louis Walsh's advice on making it in the music industry, tips from Kelly's sought-after make-up artist at MAC, and a comprehensive list of support organizations that women can reach out to when they really need help. Much more than a celebrity autobiography, this inspiring book will be the ultimate style and advice bible for young women everywhere.
Kelly Osbourne is the daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and one of the stars of the Emmy Award-winning reality show The Osbournes. She is a singer who has recorded two pop albums, Shut Up and Sleeping in the Nothing; a contestant on Dancing with the Stars; and a special correspondent to Dr. Phil.
I wasn't expecting a deep treatise on the meaning of life here, but this is actually a well-written and very honest book about the phenomenom of celebrity-obsessed/ reality TV addicted society. Certainly a great book to give to a teenage girl as Osbourne has included a lot of resources for help with drugs, alcohol, bullying and eating disorders (although they are most UK-based.)

This was a really good book; very easy read. I've seen the Osbourn's and loved the show and totally thought Kelly was awesome. I was very excited to read this book and glad I did. I can relate to a lot of the feelings she had about pills and weight. I felt like I was getting advise from a big sister or best friend. Kelly seems like a nice girl I'd want to be friends with. The only thing I didn't like was how often she gave links and numbers; seemed like advertising to me but I'm sure it probably had given someone some help so I can't say it's a bad thing. All in all I loved the book and love watching Kelly on Dr. Phil, trying to make a difference and help peopl.
