3.0 out of 5 stars Didnt pull me in...
I'm a bookworm & this is not one Id read again nor would I really recommend it. The book is written in Kelly's own words which I guess is "honest & unique" but I wasn't impressed. I found a few errors & typos that annoyed me & every time I read a word that was misspelled in English but correct in the uk I was irritated more. While I am a Kelly fan I'm not exactly sure...

4.0 out of 5 stars Rock Royalty, September 1, 2010

I wasn't expecting a deep treatise on the meaning of life here, but this is actually a well-written and very honest book about the phenomenom of celebrity-obsessed/ reality TV addicted society. Certainly a great book to give to a teenage girl as Osbourne has included a lot of resources for help with drugs, alcohol, bullying and eating disorders (although they are most UK-based.)

This was a really good book; very easy read. I've seen the Osbourn's and loved the show and totally thought Kelly was awesome. I was very excited to read this book and glad I did. I can relate to a lot of the feelings she had about pills and weight. I felt like I was getting advise from a big sister or best friend. Kelly seems like a nice girl I'd want to be friends with. The only thing I didn't like was how often she gave links and numbers; seemed like advertising to me but I'm sure it probably had given someone some help so I can't say it's a bad thing. All in all I loved the book and love watching Kelly on Dr. Phil, trying to make a difference and help peopl.

While I am a Kelly fan I'm not exactly sure she's meant to write books because her accounts bored me & lacked any details that pulled me in. I found myself rushing through the chapters just to be finished so I could begin reading another, better written book...I think she could have done better...Also it all felt a little rushed & unorganized.
Ive also recently read her father Ozzy's book & found myself correcting the English in that too so my mother could understand it. The U.K.'s words for things are so unknown to us I found it hard to comprehend exactly what things meant. On several occasions I even made a list of words I didn't know the meaning to which were mostly British slang & looked them up online in hopes of better understanding this book.
Jack's book was similarly forgettable as was Sharon's.
