I wanted the recipe for the secret sauce that makes communities thrive. I wanted something to help demystify the concept of community. How do communities form? Why do people join communities? Why are some communities wildly successful while others struggle or even die? Sarah has figured out the model and shares the recipe for creating fiercely loyal communities. I have been watching her do it for the past two years - and few people do it better. The model is clear, understandable, and actionable. No doubt community building is a hot topic these days. This book will give you the tools you need to build yours.

Fierce Loyalty. Those two words on their own are each strong and powerful. Who doesn't become Fierce about their passion and who doesn't crave Loyalty from friends, family, and businesses? Now put those two together. Amazing, isn't it?

And amazing is exactly what Sarah Robinson's book is. Simply amazing.

Veteran or novice, big community or small, Fierce Loyalty provides everyone the essential building blocks, the DNA if you will, of how to build a community of fiercely loyal members. And as Sarah so eloquently states in her book, "An invested heart is the greatest marketing asset in the world."

Having had the great pleasure of attending her live events and having met her in person, I didn't think it was possible to take that energy and knowledge and excitement and wrap it up in a book. Wrong. She did. And did it well.

So what are you waiting for? Get the book already. You're gonna love it.

Sarah has assembled a concise foundational book which presents a solid framework to support her empirical work on just what it takes to build a fiercely loyal community.

Many technologists have seen community form around technical change waves (remember warchalking in the early days of wifi or animal farm for ISP providers) but most of the time we just assume it happens out of the ether. Sarah has put community formation into a framework that is understandable, scalable and repeatable.

If you are an innovation leader or a market professional looking for a useable set of tools to set a community in motion, this book is also for you. There are case studies and solid examples of the principles in application. Sarah has drawn examples from public and private companies, both for profit and not for profits to punctuate her examples.

So, if your great work depends on building both external and internal community for your work, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of the book.
