I had bought my first Fiestaware Cereal Bown sight unseen from Amazon.com, and I absolutely love the rich, cinnamon color of Cinnabar!

The Cereal Bowl comes in handy and we use it for hot and cold cereal, soup, ice cream, and leftovers (smaller portions). It's microwaveable, too!

If you've never used Fiestaware before, this would be a great introduction to the line, especially if you have use for smaller soup/cereal bowls.

I ordered these for my mother's birthday and was surprised at how pretty they are. I was skeptical about getting brown dinnerware, but the color is rich and warm and sets off meals nicely. As with all Fiesta dishes, the enamel on these bowls is very safe from a health standpoint, and they are amazingly resistant to chips and cracks. I can't count how many times I've dropped them on the floor or sink by accident, and yet I've never had one break.

We only buy fiestaware now! It is so durable. Our old plates used to chip at the edge, but not my fiesta. I even bought extra ones to use as dog bowls -- I got the idea from Orvis catalog -- but ordering from Orvis is more expensive. Once you try them -- you're hooked. (Now if I can only convince my husband we need a 2nd set in a different color!!!!)
