I registered for Fiesta online for my wedding and just got my first place settings in (my mom bought me some to start me out). I LOVE the colors! Gorgeous. Be aware that there are some small blips and inclusions in the glaze, and they could have done a better job with the glaze around the mug handles. But if I wanted perfection, I would have registered for china, not stoneware. Fiestaware is all about the colors, anyway. I can't wait to use this.

The PEACOCK is bright, but not too bright (I was a little afraid) and looks great with SHAMROCK. The SUNFLOWER is a nice, deep yellow. COBALT is also gorgeous...in some of the pics on here, it looks almost "cornflower," but its really *very* deep navy -- almost black. WHITE is, well, white. See the pics I added to the 'customer pics' section for some color comparison.

So, 4 stars and not 5 because of the small glaze problems. Not enough of a problem to worry about, but still, not perfect. Also, despite the Super Saver shipping, these arrived very quickly and are very well packaged.

It's all true: Fiestaware is classic, colorful, beautiful, colorful, durable, colorful, microwave and dishwasher safe, colorful and just plain wonderful. Buy some!

A WORD OF CAUTION: the pictures here (at least, on my browser) do NOT match with the actual Fiesta colors. If color is important to you, check out the dishes in person before placing your order!

I own the 4-piece set in Cinnabar, Scarlet, Persimmon, Sunflower, Shamrock, Juniper, Cobalt and Plum. A vertiable rainbow in the cupboard. Food looks great on these plates (and after reading these reviews I'm pleased to discover that I'm not the only one who picks the plate color based on the menu!) I'm also the proud owner of 4 large cobalt soup bowls, very handy for main-dish salads and juicy pasta sauces.

I'd love to see Homer Laughlin offer a different type of set - I rarely use the mugs from this 4-piece set, in fact I might actually offer them up on ebay -- but would delight in a small sauce dish or something instead!

I had received a set of fiestaware for a graduation present my senior year of high school. It has traveled with me through dorm rooms, first apartments, and now into my brand new home. I've had other sets of dishes, but none of them lasted as long as this set has, nor have they been able to match perfectly (or more affordably) when I chose to expand the number of place settings I have.

I've owned alot of various brands of dishes. I purchased the Fiestaware Cinnabar plates for the stylish color and the versatility due to the weight and style. When I received the plates, I absolutely loved them. They have a solid quality feel substancially heavier than the cheaper plates we normally purchase from the brand stores located in every city. Just the other day, my 16 year old son mentioned how much he loves these plates. The bowls are heavy enough where they stay in place when the four younger children eat their favorite cereal. They fight over these bowls!

I plan to get the 4-piece set in _eight_ different colors, so I can mix and match the place settings on my whitewashed table when I have dinner guests. A friend sent me a gift of the cinnabar last week. One of the pieces was broken, and when I contacted Amazon.com, they were fabulous and sent a replacement set before I could even get the return to UPS! The replacements are in great shape and a BEAUTIFUL color, even better than they look online. I love the look and functionality of Fiestaware: durable, microwavable, dishwasher-safe, and casual chic. What more could you ask for?

I bought 6 sets of 4 piece place settings for less than $100. How can you beat that for Fiesta ware?

I decided I wanted to start collecting Fiestaware in a variety of colors. Locally I could only find primary colors, blue, red, green and yellow, and the prices were high. I discovered Fiestaware on Amazon.com by accident and was overwhelmed with the color selections and the prices. Taking advantage of free shipping and a promotion for free pieces , I feel I got the best possible selections and value. They arrived and were beyond my expectations.

More colors to add to my collection! I was hesitant at first to buy this particular color because it didn't match anything else that I had anywhere in my kitchen or dining room, even though I have 12 other colors of Fiestaware place settings. Was I wrong! It went beautifully with my set, and being able to mix and match is the best thing ever! These sturdy dishes by H Laughlin are my favorite. I use them for everything. After years of use, a few "wear scratches" here and there, they are still the only thing that I "show off" on my dinner table.

Go ahead, add more fun, flare and color to your life! You know you want to!

I purchased six 4-piece place setting (different colors) about a month ago. Based on all the great reviews, I thought I would love these dishes. However, in just a month, there are already many scratches on the plates from cutting meat etc. I am surprised! Other than that, I do like these dishes...but they look older than they should after just a month of use. I really wish I had gone with Pfaltzgraff. I like the Jamberry pattern....
