I have all of John Wooden's Inch and Miles series and my kids and I love them. The real joy is not that the stories are earth shattering, though they are well written, it's that they are a kids book with success principles... you read them knowing the simple story models for your children timeless principles and offers you an assurance the children are learning a valuable lesson (which is more than I can say about most kids books).
Don't hesitate to buy this, but at the same time don't place unwarranted expectations, it's still a kids book!

Gotta have. If you're ging to invest in all that cartoon crap for children then stop and buy this! And while you're reading it to your children, pay attention.
