Although the stuffed hippo seems to be nice enough, I was dissappointed
with the product. I did a search on Amazon looking for a "farting hippo"
resembling the one on the television show, NCIS. As a result of the search, the afore mentioned hippo was displayed with the words "farting hippo" above the product.
I apparently mis interperted the add thinking it was something other than what it was. As a result I purchased three of them for my grand children.
I guess I should have researched the add further.

When I was looking for farting hippos this came up so I assumed it was. Nice toy but it doesn't fart. The fact that it showed up under a search for farters is very misleading. Very disappointed.

i purchased this hippo toy so i could make a farting burt hippo toy for my wife who loves ncis it worked well the whoopee cushion was bigger than i was expecting but with a little wiggling and some deft stitch work from me he now farts with the best of them ....see youtube for instructions

The shipping was so fast. He was so cute and very well made. I was very impressed.

The hippo with a 5 inch whoppee cushion did the trick. I went to UTUBE for instructions. It worked well.

I searched for "Farting Hippo" this was the first one. I didn't read the information or the title, and assumed that the search directed me towards exactly what I was looking for.
I only hope that another person won't make the same mistake I did.

Although I DO love my hippo to death, he doesn't fart like Abby's on NCIS. [Although her's doesn't either according to the cast and crew-- it's all special sound-over effect!]
The hippo is great other than being the first in the search for "farting hippo".
If you're looking for a smaller replica of her hippo, this is a great one!!

Very disappointing. I was excited to find the hippo and whoopi cushion and thought it would be a more heart felt gift to make Abbe's farting hippo. The 14" hippo is far to small to fit the whoopi that was offered with it. It was the size of a nerf football when it needed to be slightly smaller than a standard pillow. Amazon is falsely advertising that these two produce go together. Finally I wound have given a rating of zero stars, but the options do not let you choose less than one star.

The hippo I bought was for a Christmas present. I orderred it for Grandma to give to grandson, he loves hippos and he loved the hippo. As far as I know, he takes it to bed with him. It is very cute, and in good shape. Well packaged, and delivered on time. Thanks.

Cute as can be!!!! Made a nice gift for my son who kept singing "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" ..... so he got one!!! He loved it and he is 35 years old. lol

Hello, thanks for the prompt delivery of my wife's stuffed hippo. It was a Christmas present because she was always singing that song. We got a laugh out of it, and she loves it!
