4.0 out of 5 stars execellent book for any manager, April 19, 2011
This review is from: Fifth Discipline (Century Business) (Paperback)
Hello, I have read this book through at least three times and every time more truths stand out. I am a police officer and a pastor and this book has been invaulable to me. I read it through first, then I read it a second time using a high lighter to mark the interesting passages and then I read it again and was just as excited about managing and learning as I was the first time. This book teaches you to look at life as intersecting systems instead of isolated events and occurrences and fully explains why certain activities produce the outcomes that result from the choices that are made. I am a better police officer and a better pastor/teacher because of this book. I highly recommend it to anyone who manages anything.
