A lush, sensual treat.,

If you are someone that enjoys animals, beautiful women, gorgeous scenery, and Ben Kingsley, then this is the film you want to see. Mr. Kingsley plays a poor Brazilian snakehunter named Cunda. Cunda captures animals to raise a dowry to marry a voluptous widow. While out hunting, he is bitten by a poisonous snake and sees four chimpanzees waving to him while hallucinating. Recovered, he encounters the same four chimpanzees the next day. He keeps them so that he can sell them later on, and perhaps wed the lovely widow with the profit. The treacherous mishaps and sensual exploits that follow guide Cunda to new revelations. By the way, female fans of the distinguished Mr. Kingsley |
