I think that these books are really great! Romantic and crazy... If you not into all the graphic stuff just read over it and concentrate on the story line. I really enjoyed this serious though.

After the end of the first one I just had to start the second one immediately.
It was a great follow-up and am already halfway the third book now.
We got some great ideas from it ;-)

OMG! This book was even better than the first. So highly riveting, so captivatingly intense. Ana and Christian took a long way to get to the point they are at. Can't wait to start book 3......

I'm too old for this book......I wasn't expecting the subject matter. Guess I ought to read reviews most closely. Not Yahoo's fault, mine.

After reading the first book, I was pretty much hooked. However, as the storyline unfolded, it became more and more unrealistic. When I finished the book, I was ready for more. At the beginning of the second book, the plot seemed as though it was going to thicken with the introduction of Christian's "Mrs. Robinson" and his deranged lover. I kept reading it only to find out that the plot was pretty much at a standstill. The problem for me was the fifty plus pages midway through the second book of them doing it over and over and over ad nauseam. I became extremely bored and frustrated with the writing because it was so predictable. By then, I quit reading it. A friend told me what happened in the rest of the trilogy, and I could've guessed the ending.

If you want to read about a woman who bites her lip and a man who twitches his palms that get together and do it kinky pretty much every five pages in these books, then read it. I have a feeling when the trend of these novels begins to wane, many people will see through hindsight that these books actually suck.

Probably the poorly written book I've ever read.
To top that, to believe that a virgen could jump from hardly ever being kissed to the sexual escapades she did is pretty hard to believe.

Sexually explicit and repetitive. Not too well written. Interesting psychology; a dependent/co-dependent/abusive relationship developing into a more trusting and inter-dependent relationship.

This book was more of the same from the first one. I almost thought about not finishing the trilogy because I was bored with this one. I'm glad I didn't though because I loved the third book!
