Found myself reading every chance.

Though Alice did ask did she have to sex it up with everyone and kind of told no, she felt guilty if she didn't at least try so as to be more accepting.

I loved the author's first book and couldn't wait to read this second one. I was disappointed. While it has plenty of erotic parts in it, the whole story line felt thrown together and left me feeling lost in the whole thing. Would I recommend this book? No. The first book is much, much better.

If you like your fairy tales with an erotic edge to them then this is a great trilogy to start with. Fifty Shades of Alice in wonderland was wonderful to start with and Looking through the Hourglass was even better. I can't wait to get my hand on the third installment.

It has good sexual lessons as to being more open and forgiving but the first was better. Still heck of a twist to the original stories. For only three dollars decent read and it isn't too long either.

Definitely not recommended if you're just looking for a romantic read with slight BDSM/fetish themes. This story was all over the place in regards to the many types of erotic behavior it explored. There are many things in this story I wasn't really interested in (Dweedle Dee and Dum) but for the most part there was something to enjoy in every encounter Alice had (imo).

I honestly really love the cheeky way this is written so that it somewhat mirrors Carrol's original text. I actually found myself laughing a couple of times at how DuChamp reflected his prose through her own, with VERY differing content!

I appreciated the underlying storyline which essentially is that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, everyone has their own kink, and how can you know for sure if you've never tried? Lewis' and Alice's relationship takes a dramatic turn in this story given that, not only do they find out some interesting fetishes each other likes, but they then have to learn how to deal with those desires and be honest about them. All in all I liked all of the scenes in this story but my favorites were with the bondage master, the "flowers" and the White's Queen's sex shop. I was also very thrilled to see the hatter and the hare make another appearance and thought the Jabbercocky quite creative.

I will definitely be reading the final installment of the story.

I wanted to enjoy this book, but it was just a sad disappointment. It had a humor threaded throughout which was an attempt to be light-hearted but it was in bad taste and distracting. I found the internal dialog of the title character irritating and tiring. While this genre of literature is something I frequently purchase, I was glad this was a freebie. I will not be keeping this in my Kindle library.

I really liked the first 50 Shades of Alice, so I was really excited for this one. However, instead of great sex, we get weird, almost non-permissive sex. The author is free to believe what he/she wants, but if something feels uncomfortable to you, you DON'T actually have to be participate in it.

This is basically propaganda.

More About the Author

I'm a professional author who has written more than fifty novels, most of them romances.

Recently, I began writing erotica under this pen name, beginning with Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland. I do my best to make my books playful and funny without taking away from the kinky, steamy love scenes.

Alice's journey of sexual discovery continues in Fifty Shades of Alice Through the Looking Glass. I have written three new adventures, continuing the sexy fairy tales in Fifty Shades of Jezebel and the Beanstalk. I've also taken an exciting (and sexy) futuristic turn in The Sexperts: Fifty Grades of Shay and The Sexperts: Girl with a Pearl Necklace.

A lot of readers have asked about Fifty Shades of Alice at the Hellfire Club which will be coming soon. :)

Question: Why do you use a pen name?

Answer: I have a wonderful family and terrific friends, but they don't need to know that I sexy stuff like this. Though I firmly believe fantasy is healthy, and sex is nothing to be embarrassed by or ashamed of, a pen name makes things easier.

Question: But I love your writing and want to read all of your other books!

Answer: Thank you! I'd love for you to read my other books, too! But for the time being, I'm keeping my identity a secret. I appreciate your understanding.

Question: Do you have a website, Facebook, or Twitter account?

Answer: Not yet, but readers are welcome to email me at melindaduchamp@gmail.com. I always love to hear what people think of my work!

Question: Will you be doing any more adult novels after the Alice trilogy?

Answer: I do plan on writing more fairy tale-themed erotica and other funny erotica as well. I had a lot of fun writing Alice, and am bursting with ideas for future projects. Feel free to contact me and let me know which fairy tale you'd like me to spice up.
