Good intro to social media September 6, 2011
By LKB
Format:Paperback
As social media has taken such a huge role in the marketing world, I bought this book to get a better grasp on how to make it work for me. The whole thing used to totally confused me, from Facebook to Twitter, it was all just overwhelming. This book, broke things down for me in short chapters that were easy to understand.

This book was recommended to me when I was given a new opportunity at work to head our social media marketing at work. I was fairly clueless about what I was doing, especially Twitter! The great, short, well-organized chapters are easy-to-read and give great advice and tips on how to make the most out of your social media marketing. One of the most important things I learned was focusing on quality, not quantity and NOT getting trapped in the numbers game. This is an excellent book for beginners in social media marketing, as well as those who are experienced and want to refresh and improve their methods.

Easy to Follow August 29, 2011
By SSG
Format:Paperback
I purchased this book to wrap my head around the social marketing world, which was overwhelming to me. With its short chapters, fun pictures and easy-to-follow advice, it really was a quick, helpful read that made social media much less daunting. In fact, I have now purchased it for two of my employees who are taking over the social marketing role at my company. I truly appreciate having a guide to help my team.
