Lambretta breaks new ground,

I just don't understand this group's management at all. A friend of ours from Sweden said you have to listen to this group and that was several years ago. Well, the first album that we bought was "Breakfast" that was catchy but needed a little maturing.
Along came the self titled album "Lambretta" that was much tighter and we were hooked. So we don't hear anything from Lambretta for several years except Linda doing a guest shot with the Finn band Apocoliptica that was very successful. The group got a new record deal with Universal which has all of the top Scandinavian groups tied up. Along comes "The Fight" which is just about the best album I've heard in years. The album starts off with "The Fight" which is really, really good. Following up is "Chemical" that just totally kicks butt. To make a believer, go to their website @ http://www.lambrettamusic.com/en/. You'll be a believer like me. By the way, Lambreatta produced portions of "Die Happy's" latest album which is also quite good. Too bad somebody in the USA doesn't recognize the talent and give us something other than Rap every day.

I love Lambretta. I got thier first album years ago and it often finds it's way into my car, best driving music ever. If you haven't heard of Lambretta think a more polished sounding Courtney Love although there are a few Garbage comparisons but the two lead voices are very different. Thier first album was full of catchy hooks, polished rock and singable floor stompers, from that album Creep and the lead killer track Bimbo are stand out's, I recomend anyone who likes this album to purchase thier self titled debut also. And now to The Fight, another great lead single with the title track, they're back in fine form, catchy and memorable. Also catch me if you can with it's vocalk manipulation is a stand out, the nice ballad Add 9 is a good way to round off the album. As a whole it's not as polished sounding but thats not a bad thing.
They should be much bigger internationally then they are but as long as they keep making music I'm happy.
