Overall this is an awesome cd. It could use a few more songs though. THE HUNTED is a good change from the rest of the songs. These guys r awesome. If you like Five iron frenzy chances r your going to like the insyderz.

This album is worth buying if you're into Christian Ska. I like Jigsaw and Paradise the best. However, their Motor City Ska album is superb and a lot better to skank to. I've seen the Insyderz live, and nothing gets you movin' like their songs from the Motor City Ska album. I do give them kudos though for experimenting in this CD. The Skalleluia CD is ok, but is extremely limited in terms of creativity for obvious reasons (they're tweaking mainstream church songs). Overall: Motor City Ska--BUY IT NOW / Fight of my Life--Buy it when you get around to it / Skalleluia--Borrow it from a friend first

I must say at first I was not too crazy about this album but after giving it a few listens it grew on me. It is now in my top 5 ska albums of all time!!!! Musically the insyderz lean more towards pure ska on this CD but there are only 10 songs. Tracks 1,2,4, & 10 are the songs that have some hardcore influence. You can hear punk influence on track 5 and 9 and track 7 is an interesting instrumental song. Yes it is different but it's still the insyderz brand of music. AWESOME SKA-CORE!

I love the Insyderz, don't get me wrong. I've seen them live twice and I have all of their CDs. But this CD was such a major disappointment for me; I bought their first album, "Motor City Ska", when it first came out on Gumshoe Records several years ago. And that album rocked my world for 3 months straight. So of course I enjoyed "Skaleluia!", but it wasn't exactly new material. I was so psyched for "Fight Of My Life" that I was actually the first person to buy it from the local Christian store! And when I put it in, I liked it...but didn't love it. Songs such as "The Hunted" and "Fight Of My Life" are chill, but the rest of it just doesn't impress me much. If you want a much better album of the same band, pick up "Motor City Ska". 2 stars.

I was very pleased to hear what I heard when I listened to it for the first time. I didn't think that the Insyderz were so cool until I heard this album. I liked them so much, I went out and bought their previous CD, Motor City Ska. The thing that I like about the Insyderz, is that they seem to put a song that stands out from all of the others in every album. I know that "The Hunted" is the outcast on this CD. It is a lot harder than the others. And I think that it is cool that they still use still use the horns in the hard-core song(s). I would easily compare them to Five Iron Frenzy and The Supertones. I think that ska is underestimated. Especially Christian ska. If you agree with me, or just plain like the Insyderz (or Ska music), get this CD, and you won't be complaining.

I put this CD in. and on the first song, i was just amazed. I've been a fan of the Insyderz since they were a lowly "motor city" ska band trying to get a gig, and their sound has matured to a perfect state. Tracks like Jigsaw and Just What I Needed show the great ska core guitar of the band. Listen to The Hunted for a funk/rap/ska combo that will blow you away. And finally for the grand finale they give Fight Of My Life, the title track. This CD is 5 out of 5 stars, no questions asked. It is worth it to buy at any price. Pick it up today!

This CD is great. Every song is catchy and smart, and the album as a whole has an awesome feel to it. The production value is very smooth, the musicianship is top notch, and Joe Yerke is singing great!

This is the best insiders ever. If you like ska you WILL like this. Its COOL!!!!!!!

Good stuff. Not too preachy. Focused on the music. Could have spoken of the Savior a bit more though.

This CD is very cool, if you like ska that is. They sound like "Less Than Jake," or "The Mighty Mighty Bosstones." My favorite track is "Jigsaw" this song has a cool rap session at the begining and in the middle of the song. For this ska band it works very well. Although the down side to having a good song is they play the music vidoe all the time, with luck I won't get sick of the song. Anyway this CD rocks, I haven't got sick of it since I bought it.
