5.0 out of 5 stars turn the lights down, this is strictly fight sounds
Sexy sexy sexy. This cd makes me feel so dirty I don't know what to do with myself. I haven't been this satisfied with a cd in ages. Highly recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars dark side of electronica
This music is electronica with a dark beat. I'm a big fan of Goldfrapp and this group was referred by [...] They are worth a listen. The song "Fight Sounds Part I" is a great tune and has a heavy rotation in my current playlist. They have a song included in the "Walk All Over Me" soundtrack and I would recommend that cd as a better deal if you are not already a fan...

5.0 out of 5 stars Seen Fight Club?, July 24, 2011

What Fight Club does visually, Fight Songs does sonically. Taps into that agressive side that lurks in all of us. May just get that testosterone flowing (as you can see from the previous reviews, ladies may find something else here...) but what you do with that energy is up to you.

"Fight Sounds Part 1" comes out swinging and the rest of the album deals with the fallout.

"Black And blue and blue and black and black and blue and black we lie."

The beats are chunky, staccato and pulsating and sounds and instruments fade in and out and come and go and sounds menacing. Jeremy Shaw's low, not quite monotone delivery just drives home the point that this is strictly fight sounds.

Raw, basic and with a purpose. You'll find yourself returning for more.

Play loud.

P.S. Check out Steve Lawler's tweak to to the track order on Disc 3 of his Viva: Mixed By Steve Lawler set.

Think smoky lounges in after hour clubs that are by invitation only.
