Rebekah and Rafael were teenagers in love. Rebekah's parents didnt approve of Rafael and forbid her to see him. Although Rebekah was generally an obedient daughter, her love for Rafael caused her to disobey her parents and sneak around to continue seeing Rafael.

When she became of age they ran away and married and tried to make a life together. Reality and other issues set in and they wind up apart and divorced. Fast forward nine years and Rebekah and Rafael are faced to face with each other again.

As Rafael and Rebekah come to grips with the fact they they still love each other, there are a lot of issues and old hurts and wounds that they have to overcome.

I loved how they were able to work beyond the past hurts for the sake of their child but also to find and rekindle the love that they thought was lost. The author creates a really romantic story with characters and issues that a reader can relate to. You can feel the love between the characters in spite of the issues that they face and that always makes for a wonderful story.

I thought the story was well written and flowed perfectly. The boy was cute and normal--I was so glad he didn't whine. I thought she could have given him the benefit of the doubt nine years ago, but with Pops breathing down her back the marriage didn't stand a chance. I like that he was determined to get her and his son and always stood up to her family. I was pleased that she knew him well enough to assure him that he was the 'only one'.

********Book number two for me from the author and I really liked it, it was good storytelling. Rafael and Rebekah where teenage sweet hearts, who where forbidden to see each other by Rebekah's parents, being young in love and married did not work of so well for the young couple, there where alot of misunderstandings involve that led to the divorce and separation of the couple.

********Fast forward to 9 years later Rafael is a retired wrestler, rich and sexy and Rebekah is a teacher with a son, faith brought these two back together with a twist thus where the story begins. Reading the story it took me on that journey with the characters, the author has a sensual, smooth romantic way of writing as well as making the simplest things or actions tear at your heart.

********The teasers and love making were prefect, as well as the storyline, the other characters in the book as well brought something to the table( wouldn't mind reading a book about Rebekah's sister *hint* *hint*). The author knows how to write about a mean Latin lover. I look forward to more books to come.
