Nice book about how animals adapt and fight back,

Fighting back is a beautifully illustrated book about how animals survive the dangers of the wild through various adaptations from mimicry to venom.
My biggest issue with the book involves how the print sections are set up. They seem needlessly confusing due to in my opinion an awkward looking layout and little symbols that are inserted for interest (which instead are confusing). The back of the book includes a short dictionary and index which is helpful if your child wants to study a certain type of "fighting back." |
