This book positively affected the way I deal with life,
By A Customer
This review is from: Fights, Games, and Debates (Paperback)
I read this book as a young man and dellighted to find I can now get another copy to replace my long lost volume. The book gives very clear explanations of game theory, zero-sum and non-zero sum, game trees and related subjects. It then goes on to weave a philosophy of civilized communication based on the mathematics. The style is clear and pleasant to read, and what ought to be a dry subject is becomes a pleasant walk through a garden of interesting concepts. I look forward to reading it again after many years.

Resource for couples therapy,
By
This review is from: Fights, Games, and Debates (Paperback)
This book is largely referenced in John Gottman's couples therapy. They took these concepts and created exercises to apply this technique with couples. I use the couples version of the rapoport concept in therapy often. It is extremely hard to delay your agenda and to really hear your partner...but highly effective.
