I became OBSESSED with Miku Hatsune by my friend sending me a video of her on youtube and instantly fell in love. Remarkable voice, clothes, and personality this girl will mark your heart for a life time.I was quite pleased upon getting this figurine since it was my first but certainly not my last. She comes with two different faces, two leeks, the microphone and stand, the stand that holds her in midair, and a couple of sets of different hands(about 5 sets) and also given a bag where you can keep all these accessories and NOT lose them. I became scared when people were mentioning she was falling apart on them when they only had her for less than 5 minutes and was praying I wasn't one of them. There was an article going around that a lot of Miku Hatsune figurines were fake and breaking easily so if she's durable and nicely made than she's the real deal (study the picture of her and make sure she's not missing her 01 mark on her arm or chips on her skirt and such). I was VERY gentle as if she was glass when I first got her but was horribly too gentle cause the most pain about this figurine is putting on the hands. Sometimes it's stubborn of not going in and I had to be quite rough just to switch her hands. I think that's the only bad thing about her but I truly love her and change her positions like every other week. Be careful on getting the wrong figurine and hope you enjoy this wonderful doll. A perfect present for a big fan of Miku. Expensive but worth it. I hope you enjoy this product as much as me. Take care.

First I must warn anyone who can't guess this on their own: this is not a doll or toy designed for children! A child will likely break, lose, or even swallow this figure's parts. The Good Smile Company makes some really great models of popular anime characters. Until I ordered this, I only had experience with their great Nendroid line (which is a series of popular anime characters made into little SD models). However, this figure made with even more skill than those. When I opened the box for this figure, I was surprised by the large amount of interchangeable pieces that came with it: there are four alternate hands (one for each arm, making a total of eight), an alternate face, two leeks (you have to know this character to understand) and a microphone with stand (not sure how sturdy the product is exactly, because I'm not about to test it. But it seems to be built pretty solid). This figure also comes with a translucent stand that has a bendable "arm" which you can use to put Hatsune Miku in a airborne or unusual pose. The figure itself is also very flexible and can bend its joints in almost any way a normal person can (probably more). I must mention that despite how the figure appears in the pictures, it is actually very easily taken apart. This is necessary when changing parts. I felt very odd pulling out Miku's hands from her sleeves when changing them; it was even stranger when I pulled out her bangs in order to change her face. This was definitely worth the money I paid for it. If you are a Miku fan then you will really like this.

My 11 yo daughter wanted this doll as a model for her drawings. She is a Vocaloid fan and spends a lot of time sketching. The joints move well which was important to us because she intends to pose the doll for sketching. She seems to be fragile for instance she has tiny hands and I was afraid to try to change them out as the doll comes with different preposed hands to change out. This toy is appropriate for an older child who is cautious and responsible.

I owe my entire anime figure collection to this figure right here! Besides that, I've been a huge Miku(or Vocaloid in general) fan for a long time ever since I stumbled upon her videos almost 3 years ago. I absolutely love Miku, no joke.Anyway, for those new to these figures, Figma is a series of posable figures made by Max Factory. The joints are very easy to move and unlike other figures, they are very natural. What I'm getting at with that is they're anatomically correct in a sense. Her hair also has joints for more poses. The figure is also very durable so there's no need to worry about breaking the joints. And like many Figmas, Miku comes with extra hands and face parts for different poses and accessories true to her. A mic stand, and 2 leeks that her fans know so well just for added fun. My only problem with her is her hands are kinda hard to switch out, one because her sleeves cover her hands and two the tiny balls on the end of the pins on the hands. Good thing Max Factory stopped putting those on newer Figmas to make it a lot easier. She also comes with a stand so you can put her somewhere and leave alone until you want to pose her again. Also to point out, this really isn't a kid's toy, seeing how it has so many small parts. All in all, another perfect figure for any Miku or Vocaloid fan, it's cute and fun to have.

i think the rating system needs to be changed, but this was an awesome product. Highly detaild, well painted, not fragile at all, and just an overall good collectible. it has an array of different hands, props and even facial expressions to be able to pose it however you like. The figure also has great attention to detail down to the display on her sleeves. it holds the charm that the original character has, and matches almost perfectly.EDIT: note that the product changes price depending on current popularity. when i bought this product it was a total of $45.00 when a store (online or retail) is going out of business you may find this from $25.00 to $30.00 when you buy from a retail store it usually ranges from $30.00 to 35.00 when you buy it online it ranges anywhere from $45.00 to $100.00+ (or in this case 145.00) additionally, there is the live stage limited edition version which cannot be found at retail stores (from what I've found)and can sell from $60.00 to $200.00+ EDIT 2: looks like it really is out of print, its the same price no matter where you go.

This is a wonderful figurine. A second place in favorite behind the Yoko revoltech movie figure. This young gal is very sturdy. When first taking her out of the box the joints may have to be worked on (moving them around) to relief the stiffness. Her hair-dress reminds me of Sailormoon, but she is very easy to pose in almost any position that her joints allow her. Her face is easy to switch up(just pull the bangs and face itself, no need to touch the hair). Her box contains a silver lining that reflects like a mirror. Inside of her box contents contain a rack for hands, a section for her veggie, a face place, microphone piece with stand and room for her baggy and stand pieces. Too bad there wasn't a hole for her other veggie stick. The only task is hand-changing. As someone has mentioned in order to change her hands they must be pulled on. Then they must be fitted back into her sleeve. Her sleeve is a dark hole so it doesn't slide in as easily. I've noticed that her hands become loose afterward(in the socket) and tend to slide around. This is annoying when she is suppose to be holding objects.

She's cute, her body moves naturally, and her joints are very well hidden. In nearly every pose I've put her in, she's always been adorable! It's a great collector's item or a lovely gift for a fan. However, be very, very gentle..in trying to re-position her hair, it broke. I was in shock (she had only been opened for an hour and I didn't put much pressure on it). It's all fixable with a little glue, so I wouldn't be too scared. On the parts of her body, where the joints are located, it's okay if something falls out of its socket. I've noticed that when putting it back in place, it's just as durable as before, yet easy to repeat if necessary (which is great if you're switching out something from another figma onto your Miku figure).

I bought this figure a long time ago, when it first came out. I was really happy, 'cos I had bought another figma before that, and it was great. But this was terrible. The night I recieved her, her arm broke, and later on, an elbow broke. This isn't worth the +$100 price here, it isn't worth the normal price, I wouldn't even take this figure for free, 'cos it isn't that good looking either. :|

I have nothing to add too the previous review, I have this figure and love it as well, but I must express some problems that apply to most Figma figures. The joints arnt very durable. With mine, the joint that allowed me to rotate her left-hand ponytail snapped with the ball and one side pegg in her head, then the other in her ponytail completely snapped and detached. I wasnt rough with it at all, it just broke after 3 minutes of being out. I've researched this problems with other figmas for a solution. I saw pictures of arms breaking off, and other parts of hair. I ended up just bluntly super gluing it back on. Basically, be careful when handling these. Other than that they are a good addition to a collectors arsenal. |
