5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and enchanting!!!, October 31, 2001

This review is from: Fikret Amirov: Orchestral Works (Azerbaijan Capriccio / A Tale of Nasimi / Kurd Ovshari / Gulistan Baytay Shiraz) (Audio CD)
Listening to Guslistan Bayati Shiraz transported me to another world full of intrigues and exotism. I totally lost myself with this piece. They are all very powerful and vivid. It gives one a taste of Orient.
A Tale of Nasimi has a pretty dark ending but all the dances without being similar are interconnected.
This cd is a must-by for all the amateurs of oriental classical music. It sounds Arabic, Indian and Russian, all at the same time. A true master piece!!!
