I purchased these shoes because I drive a honda. I like racing. But since owning these shoes, they have quickly become my favorite. First, they are more comfortable than my adidas low sneakers. They are white and look great with both jeans and shorts. I love the carbon fiber fabric look and the stripe on the side. My only complaint is that the bottom is completely flat, but even walking on ice I never had an issue with slipping. I hope these shoes will last me a long time. To help protect the white, I sprayed them with some shoe protectant/water proofer. So far they've stayed pretty clean. The only part that gets dirty is the sides and toe where the white angles towards the ground. Even then any dirt comes off super easy.
