Excellent review book. Case by case breakdown of subjects commonly asked on tests, with pertinent information guiding you along the way.

One of my favorite books in this series. It covered every question that I had on my shelf examination in no time flat and it was an excellent read. In fact, I read through it so quickly that it really left me with more than enough time to read through other books during the rotation. You will find that it rarely introduces a topic that is far fetched, and it will never leave you with too little information about the topic being presented. The questions at the end of each chapter were well thought out and inquisitive. It gives a clinical spin on every topic, and it covers all of the "most commons" very well. Make no mistake, this is one of the best in the series and should be used frequently by med students trying to pass their shelf exam.

A good book to read during the rotation, cases are easy to read and are short enough to read during those random 10-20 minute breaks during the day. Practice questions are sometimes irrelevant to the case, but nonetheless provide the opportunity to test your knowledge.

This is a must have for 3rd year rotations in OB/GYN. it has a very nice easy to read comprehensive review of most of the conditions in oB/GYN along with about 300 questions to follow it

I love all of the Case File books, but this was one of the better ones. It was great preparation for the rotation as well as the shelf. Practically everything I was pimped on during rounds or the rotation was in this book, and I did very well on the shelf just using this book. A must get for the rotation.

The information was helpful as were the cases, however the information is scattered and needs to be updated. There are no provided page references back to prior cases with the same information so you must search yourself.
