I went to see Ethyl and The Regulars when they came to my town. WOW!, WHAT A BAND! They promised "High Octane Honky Tonk & Western Swing" and they delivered all that, and more! They filled the dance floor, and when you had to sit down and rest, you COULD NOT sit still!

I bought Ethyl and The Regulars' "Fill 'Er Up" CD, and it has quickly become my "most played" favorite. Their music is addicting! - the kind that keeps repeating in your mind, and you find yourself singing! A lot of their music is original, and the songs that they cover are better than the originals! Every time I play this CD, people stop and listen. The next questions are: "Who is that?", and "Where can I get it?".

The great thing about Ethyl and The Regulars, is that they don't have one "hot dog" doing all the singing - there are four great singers taking turns at the lead, and their harmonies are awesome! All five of them are super professional musicians that have been working on their craft for years. The stand-up bass, pedal steel, and other vintage instruments round out their classic country swing sound. (Some of their songs have a "Rockabilly" flare too.)

Just when I thought all the good country swing music had changed to rock, I found an energetic, exhilarating, "toe-tapping" CD that restored my faith! I hope that Ethyl and The Regulars are working on their next CD. When I hear them in person, I know that there is a lot more great original music and red hot covers to make several more hit CDs. One good CD deserves another, and everyone I know that hears Ethyl and The Regulars' "Fill 'Er Up" CD, just can't get enough!
