Correct Plot Summary,

The person who wrote the editorial/plot summary for The Girl on the Bridge for Amazon, obviously has not seen the movie. The correct plot summary is that a professional knife thrower stops a young blonde woman from committing suicide on a bridge. He convinces her to become his assistant/target and their relationship begins and evolves. This is one of the most beautiful films that I have ever seen. It is romantic and poignant and if I could only own two films, this would be one of them.

I watched the French version (no subtitles) of this movie a few times and it has grown on me with each viewing. The excitement of the knife throwing to trying to mend the lost soul of the girl to the sensual, not sexual, relationship between the main characters... it's all captivating.
This is not the best French film I've seen, but a very good one. I really wished there was a soundtrack for this movie. The music is fabulous.
