Mary Ann Graziani is a Michigan Certified Teacher with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She is an elementary teacher at Detroit Public Schools. She is married and has two sons ages 10 and 16. She loves to read and write, and enjoys passing on that love to the children that she teaches. In some of her spare time, during summer breaks from school, she enjoys writing and illustrating books for children. Her next writing project planned for the near future will be a chapter book for teens.
Mary Ann Graziani was born in 1964 in Canton, Michigan to Greek Orthodox parents. Mary Ann speaks Greek fluently and she grew up observing all of the Greek culture and customs. Mary Ann started writing children's books professionally in 2007, although she has been writing for most of her life. As a child in elementary school, she wrote fictional stories in her free time. She also kept a journal, and when she became a teenager she became interested in writing poetry.
As an educator, Mary Ann loves writing educational and entertaining stories for elementary school-aged children. She loves books that teach children important educational concepts in a fun and entertaining manner. She has published 5 books for children and has many other books that she plans on publishing soon.
