DJ Cam, everybody knows him! Through his DJ Kicks mix, numerous artist albums and his formidable DJ skills, he is among the upper echelon of today’s hip-hop / electronic producers.

Guillaume Naturel, saxophonist, has played with Dede Bridgewater, Björk, Henry Salvador, Tito Puentes, Diana Ross.

Alexandre Tassel, pianist, has recorded and played with Archie Shepp, Cameo, Guru, Donnie, Laurent de Wilde, Anggun and numerous others.

a modern mix of jazz and electronica that soothes your soul, calms your troubles, and pleases your ears.

hmmm, lets see, a few words to describe this album

jazzy, soothing, downtempo, light percussion, ambient/lounge, deep, simple (in a good way, he will throw in some intricate percussion and instruments but still keep the idea of the song very simple)

this album kindof carries you throughout the whole thing. there are a couple sounds and samples of soothing female vocals, the instruments are light and breezy. i listen to this album a lot while falling asleep, its my adult lullabies. don't expect to be completely amazed by this album or be looking for something completely different that you have never heard before. this album is very satisfying and you should be comfortable with this purchase because you are definately getting your money's worth. great artists, great music, great album.

DJ Cam strikes a homerun with this beautiful album. He seamlessly joins conventional instruments with electronic textures and emerges with a perfect marriage of the two. French producer DJ Cam took a step away from pure electronica in 2003 with the album "Soulshine", showing us how well he blends the organic with the electronic. The result is beautiful nostalgic music with flavors from yesterday's jazz, soul, funk, hip hop, and freestyle but enhanced by an injection of technology. "Fillet of Soul" joins DJ Cam with talented French musicians, Tassel and Naturel for another soulful musical outing - the perfect soundtrack for relaxing, cruising, and making love.
