This is an excellent fillet knife that nicely fills the gap between the $10-15 variety and the $50+ knives. The quality (ie, sharpness and ease of sharpening) and flexibility of the blade are equal to fillet knives in the $50-75 range, but it is priced around $25-30 because it has the utilitarian handle of the cheaper knives. Since I value functionality rather than beauty in my knives, this is a 5-star value. I fillet 2-300 pounds of fish with this knife every year, and it only takes a minute or less of sharpening in between uses. Couldn't be happier . . .
