Great tunes. We were in San Fran in the summer of 99 and heard these guys play live on Fillmore Street. They were excellent so we bought the CD and listened to them in Napa Valley. However, we left the disc in the rental car and we thought we would never be able to purchase the CD until returning to San Fran. We are so happy to have the opportunity to buy it again at Amazon!

Sometimes you luck out and run into incredible music you never anticipated. I ran into BTG on Fillmore St. the 4th of July weekend this was being recorded. Wow! Full-tilt West Coast American music. Three guys just locked in. Masterful playing, intriguing compositions and arrangements. Precision ensemble playing, excellent soloing. Fun. The kind of music that makes me smile and wince at the same time.

Kids in tye-die were whirling, yups were into their best air guitar licks, jazz fans with greying temples were nodding thoughtfully between the beat. There was something for everybody.

Their first and third albums are also excellent, but this one always takes me back to the street. It's the album I always give to my guitar loving friends. Never fails.

This is now my favorite band. Two guitars and percussion. Complex with excellent texture. Beautiful melody. No vocals. Perfect for driving or dining. This album makes me smile! The fact that it was recorded live, one take, no mix, no studio indicates the quality of musicians in this group. I would love to see them tour. This music is simply superb. Every song on this CD moves me. I know it sounds gushy, but rarely do you get an opportunity to say that an album is just great... This album is great.

I learned of the group through a friend--he has the cd, and I borrowed it. I was happy to see them for sale on Amazon. I just enjoy kicking back and listening to this potent, fluid trio do their thing, which is a bit jazzy, folksy and blue-grass all in one. Great musicians!

another excellent effort from this group...their version of take five is reason enough to own this cd. if you have never heard this band i cannot recommend them enough; you won't be disappointed!
