Some of the numbers are elderly and must be endured but some are absolutely stirring. I could listen to "New York New York" all day, and Julia Migenes' rendition of "Piensa En Mi" thrills. This CD is more than background music for your taxes and bookkeeping; this is classy stuff. I wish there were a hundred Lalo Shifrin-Dee Dee Bridgewater-Julia Migenes recordings, but for now this one will have to suffice.

Great for an afternoon's easy listening. A good mixture of everyone's favorites with occasional vocals included....perfect to pop into your CD on your PC while you are doing your taxes or bookkeeping......upbeat and fun for the filmgoer!

After playing the first selection, I heard the clapping background...so this a Lalo Schifrin concert..they ought to tell the CD buyers about this..this in not,repeat ..not a studio recording..so listen before you buy..or listen then return back the CD.
