This review is from: The Films of Gregory Peck (Paperback)
There have been a number of Gregory Peck biographies published over the years that adequately cover his extraordinary life. For information on Peck's film achievements this book by John Griggs is by far the best reference. First published in 1984 the book covers 49 Peck films from Days of Glory in 1944 to The Sea Wolves in 1980. Each film is given a cast and credit list, a brief plot description, detailed synopsis and insightful background information. More pages are given to the more important films. The book is well illustrated with numerous black and white photos. An 18 page chapter covers Peck's life and contribution to the film industry. The only thing missing is an index. Thoroughly recommended for fans of Gregory Peck and his films. Out of print but well worth getting if you can find it.
