This is like most bargain multi-pack DVD packages: it simply takes three pre-existing DVD's (with the same inserts and plastic cases) and puts them in a boring, cardboard slipcase.

The concept isn't exciting, but economically, this is an excellent deal. It would be more expensive to buy these DVD's individually, and there really isn't any filler either. "The Verdict" and "The Hustler" are not only two of Newman's best performances, their two of his best films, even better than "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid," which is probably his most popular movie and is still entertaining decades later.

Paul Newman's easily one of Hollywood's best actors of the last 50 years, and this is an efficient way to scoop up a good chunk of his work.

WOW...just plain WOW. You get 3 of Paul Newman's greatest movies for this low low price. They are packaged in standard DVD cases just as if you were buying them separately in a store....except you are getting each for about 1/3 to 1/2 the price you would pay for them separately. Actually I think Paul Newman's performance is better in these 3 movies than in some of his pot-boilers like Cat On a Hot Tin Roof or The Long Hot Summer (where his performances seem stiff and over-acted). In the Hustler, Jackie Gleason proves he is as fine a dramatic actor as any of his time and has a true reason for his reported "swelled head". Although I still think Hud was Paul Newman's best-ever performance, you can't beat the price of this set if you are a Paul Newman collector.

Paul Newman was and will be one of my favorites actors, not only he was very handsome he was a great actor and the movie The Verdict proves what I am saying. I recomended it and the price is right. Great bargain.
3 movies for the price of one?......Butch Cassidy is another great movie and The Hustler shows how good he was.

Paul will be missed by thousands of fans who remember his many great leading movie roles! These movies are some of his best, along with 'The Sting', that are definitely considered classics. And his well known charity efforts during the last several years also contributed much to his fantastic career. He was one of the best!!!!

What can you say? Butch Cassidy, The Verdict and The Hustler all in one. A wonderful collection, and well worth the price.

Collected in this set are three of Newman's best movies. "Butch Cassidy" is arguably his most famous film, but "The Verdict" and "The Hustler" showcase some of his best work. I enjoyed watching all three. My only disappointment is that the collection did not include "Cool Hand Luke," which is my favorite Newman film. Newman transcended his leading-man looks -- those blue eyes! -- to become a very fine actor with an appeal that endured well into his later years. And while he may best be known for portraying cocky guys in "Butch Cassidy" and "Cool Hand Luke," he also could play a more serious type, as he did in "The Verdict." This collection is great for any Newman fan.

Great movies from Mr. Newman..filled with great quotes and....well, everyone knows how good these movies are....and the prices is obviously unbeatable....target is selling the separately for about 10-13 dollars each in chicago..

Do you need a better collection of movies of Paul Newman than this one of 3 movies from 3 different eras of his acting career? People may find their favorites are not on this collection, but this is a great cross-section of the 3 different eras: his early days (The Hustler), his strongest middle age days (BC&tSK), and his elderly days in which he played older people with great flaws (The Verdict). There is no sense in reviewing these 3 classics, but suffice it to say, if you have not ever seen a Paul Newman movie, this is the collection to have. Once you have tasted one of these classics or pick one out that is your favorite, then you will have a direction to go in that era for more movies of his to watch. Enjoy!

I think of Paul Newman as an artist because he made me realize that there is an art to acting, when it is done as well as he did it. THese are three of the best because he was working with other great artists, in the cast and the crew.

What a great deal, I think I have all of Paul Newmans movies and this is a great mini collection! I LOVE YOU PAUL NEWMAN!!! RIP
