First Sonic Sum is made by four members one being the emcee and also co producer (Rob Sonic) is a dope emcee in my eyes or ears he dropps some dope lyrics that have u scratchin ur head and make you want to decipher the lyrics as most of DEFJUX artist do. But films was but out in 2002 i believe by ri eight records only over seas, but But Def Jux finally decided on lettin the States get a chance to hear this awesome album.

track one starts off with oscillator which has many fresh synthsounds accompanied by bangin drums and ofcourse Rob gets to work on the verses.

through out the album its filled with synths sounds and still keepin that "underground hip hop" sound. my fav tracks are oscillator, medicine man motto, rocket and circuit breaker.

even though the album was released a few years a go, theres no feeling of being outdated.

a great pick up if ur a fan of aesop rock, the opus, and underground hip hop in general.

now i can say that i will have my own copy. FINALLY even though it will be on the ipod its a good feeling to hold the actual copy on cd or vinyl.

PICK THIS UP IT WONT DISAPPOINT!

If you like the first two sonic sum albums then you will love this one. If you like intelligent hip-hop or even electronic music it will not disappoint. It's great from start to finish.
