5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and solid
Solid build, high powerful suction, cool headlight, last very long time - this is the best handheld vacuum on the market - no doubt.
This thing is built like a tank. I originally bought the Hoover DublDuty - that was flimsy piece of plastic. It had decent suction, but compared to this - well, there is no comparison.

3.0 out of 5 stars I fell in love, but it couldn't last
This is the first and only "dustbuster"-type cordless vac I have ever used. I bought it a year and a half ago after much online research, and was TOTALLY pleased with its performance for all the reasons the reviewers here have listed. What a product!

And then, suddenly, it couldn't run for more than a minute, then 30 seconds, and finally it couldn't hold a...

I have been a regular purchaser of the...wet/dry dustbuster for about 5 years. This unit smokes that one. Super suction, the charge lasts through anything I have put it through, quite and solidly built. Only thing is, it's a bit tricky to clean. But even after everyday use you should only have to do that once a week. This unit is a little more expensive but worth every nickel more. This thing is awesome for what it is.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW What a vacuum, October 29, 2001

This thing really sucks (sic).... I have never used a hand vac that has such wicked power! The wet/dry feature beats any of the competition hands down.... I have the V2210 with the headlight... why hasn't anyone thought of this before?

This is obviously a quality product that you would be proud to own...I am!

5.0 out of 5 stars Forget Dustbuster!!, November 23, 2002

This is the best cordless handheld vac I have ever used, and I've been through quite a few over the years. I have dogs, teens, toddlers and quite a few messes to clean up and this does it all. The last Dustbuster that I had was the 7.2 volt one and it worked well, IF you could stand the noise!! That thing was loud! This one works just as well, uses less electricity, picks up liquid too and is not half as noisy. It is comfortable to hold and use, the attachments make sense and it picks up just about anything from Cherrios to cat litter to spilled milk and dustbunnies. I would definately recommend to anyone, I'm sorry I didn't get one sooner!

5.0 out of 5 stars This vacuum really sucks!, November 18, 2002
This review is from: FilterStream V2210 DirtTamer Deluxe Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner (Kitchen)
I used this vacuum to clean my very dirty, muddy, cat-hair covered car yesterday and it handled everything with ease. I have used it for about 2 weeks now and it has sucked up everything I've asked it to! I highly recommend this hand-held vacuum, it surpasses any other I've used.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blows away all others!, February 13, 2003

This review is from: FilterStream V2210 DirtTamer Deluxe Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner (Kitchen)
This machine just doesn't quit! It picks up everything I've aimed it at, and I have yet to run the battery down. I also like the fact that the 'exhaust blower' doesn't blow to the side of the unit and scatter the objects I'm trying to vacuum up. The form for ordering replacement filters-available from the factory-is a nice touch. The telescoping crack cleaner reaches 'WAAAAY out and the light is very handy for dimly-lit areas!

I've owned most of the other brands and this one is far superior! Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT PURCHASE, December 14, 2003
This review is from: FilterStream V2210 DirtTamer Deluxe Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner (Kitchen)
We started out with the Shark Deluxe. What a disaster - the battery died quickly. This purchase has been 100 times better. We've had it for four months now and we are so pleased with the way it cleans up kitty litter and just about everything else. It never loses it charge, even after several minutes.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK but switch problems, October 14, 2005

Generally worked well, until the on/off switch didn't work any longer and the machine could not be recharged. I called customer service (800-211-9607) and they said it's been a problem on some of the vacuums and to return it for free repair if purchased within 2 years. Very helpful, but annoying problem. The vacuum is also a bit on the heavy side for a handheld one.

It's way better than the one I had from
last generation of dustbusters. The HEPA
filter keeps the dusts IN the vacuum-
HEY - What a great idea
duh!?!?!?!?
