5.0 out of 5 stars Album review
Found out about Lacrimas Profundere from Bam Margera. This album is so good and full of catchy breakdowns on the keyboard and just great lyrics to listen to on a rainy day. Every song is equally brilliant with never really happens. One of my favorite bands at this point check them out if you want to hear something different and always thought provoking.

3.0 out of 5 stars For fans of The 69 Eyes
In my ongoing search for gothic metal bands with prominent gothic rock influences (see: Type O Negative, Paradise Lost, Tiamat), I came across Lacrimas Profundere. "Again It's Over" sounded promising on Last.fm radio, so I decided to check out the full length from which it originates.

"Again It's Over" remains the standout of the album, and the tracks...

4.0 out of 5 stars Lacrimas Profundere, August 25, 2007
This review is from: Filthy Notes for Frozen Hearts (Audio CD)
Enjoyable CD with great heavy riffs along with some slow and heavy songs. Rhythms and song compilation were well written and have intense feeling. Music is kind of along the lines of Love Like Blood meets Pantheist and/or My Dying Bride.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is certainly the best of Lacrimas Profundere, December 14, 2006

All Thou it is clear that they are not musical geniuses I can't ignore the great vocals and the raw emotions in the lyrics. If you are into songs that take pleasure in the darkness and relish the sadness of ones soul then you most hear My Mescaline and do not hesitate on baying their other material

"Again It's Over" remains the standout of the album, and the tracks bookmarking it aren't bad either. But when "Short Glance" comes around, the band takes a headfirst plummet into a crusty toilet of HIM imitation. Fortunately, this lasts only a couple of songs and the band manage to churn out a few more good ones before it's all over. "Sad Theme For a Marriage" (cryptic title, huh?) is a good example. Fans of The 69 Eyes are bound to enjoy this album.
