Used this belt to replace the one on the bissel pet eraser, was a perfect fit. Does what a belt should.

after reading other reviews and seeing this belt would fit my vac, I went ahead and ordered it but was disappointed to discover there are actually two different pet hair eraser vacs by Bissel, and of course, I have the lift-off one.

Shipped fast. Not in the packaging shown, but was the exact belts needed for my Bissell. I will use this site again. Thanks

I have the Bissell PowerForce Bagless 6579 Series. Belt style7/9/10 is recommended, The filtrete belt fit very tightly and both broke within 4 months.

I bought this for my upright bissell because it was cheaper on here then in the store I've had it for 7 months now and it still works :) I'm going to buy from here every time.Shipping was fast too

The belts arrived in a very small USPS first class sleeve...four days late. There were two belts, thicker and shorter than the belt I was replacing. Checked both the old belt and the new belt, both stamped Bissell 7/9/10. I put the first belt on and the vaccuum didn't sound right, sounded much much lounder. Finished vaccuuming a hallway and smelled smoke. First replacement belt snapped after only two minutes of vaccuuming. Suppose this is why they give you two. Second belt goes on and within SECONDS snaps as well. On the plus side, if you like wretched burning rubber stench the smell when one of these goes will linger for quite some time.

Bad experience, I supposedly order this filters, but instead received two belts.
Way to go, Amazon!. Not sure why they sent two sets of belts from different places. Not worth waste of time to return product.

Bought these as replacement for my bissel vacuum cleaner belt that snapped. These are of decent quality, even though the new belt broke again soon, but it was because the vacuum cleaner got caught of the corner of the rug. This is when these belts break. The vacuum pump is so powerful it keeps sucking and with any obstruction, it pulls too hard and snaps.

Vacuums need to be more intelligent when it comes to large pieces of fabric obstructing the inflow of air. If belts didn't break, then the motor in the vacuum would overheat and burn. It's kind of a fail safe I suppose.

After reading the other reviews regarding receipt of belts in generic packaging, I decided to order from Amazon directly instead of the slightly lower priced 3rd party vendor. Having dealt with Amazon's excellent customer service in the past, I know that they would have resolved the situation appropriately if there was a problem - full rationalization for the minimal difference in price, in my mind.

So in cases like this, don't just click 'add to cart' but look at the 'more buying options' immediately below.

The vendor selling these was B&M Housewares. They came in an unlabeled plastic bag, which I knew was a possibility from reading another review. The belt was a perfect fit, but snapped within 15 minutes of vacuuming. I put on the second one and finished the chore. I vacuumed a second time with no issue. I vacuumed today and the thing snapped. It's unknown if these are really Bissell brand or if the vendor/manufacturer is selling a weak imitation. I just placed an order for a five-pack of these and suggest considering buying more than two.
