I was impress for the quality of this product , excellent, the material provide better filtration and the durability is just great.

I have no complaint about the dirt trapping ability of this unit. My problem is with the deviation of design from the original Dirt Devil filter. The original Dirt Devil filter has a horizontal bar going across the top, which makes it easy to twist it on/off the dirt container. This particular generic replacement does not have that bar. As a result, if you want to pour out the debris from the dirt container, you must use your fingers to pick/twist the lid of the dirt container. And, to remove the filter itself, you must use your hand to grab onto the bottom portion of the filter and twist it off the dirt container lid. I'm not saying that this is 100% unbearable dirty work (one could certainly do this with gloves on). However, I definitely prefer the Dirt Devil original design, which I can just use the cross bar to remove the filter or lid, without having to intimately holding onto the entire dirty filter. For this reason I think I will just go back to the original Dirt Devil filter and will not buy another one of this brand until it adheres to the cross-bar design.

The filter that I had previously was absolutely filthy and my suction was extremely poor. When I put this in, my vacuum worked as good as it ever has. It's really great.

I didn't know I was supposed to replace this thing until a girlfriend mentioned it to me. Works just fine in the vac.

This filter is great, it fits and also it is sold at a great price. Since the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter every 3 months, I will be buying this product over and over again.

Unlike some of the other comments here, I received a genuine Filtrete filter in 3M packaging the next day. It's an exact fit for my dirt devil and seems to work well also.

I am quite disappointed that the product is NOT 3M as the picture shows. The seller should fix that. It is false marketing.

Nonetheless, the product is good quality.

Just got a Dirt Devil and where I brought it from doesn't have the HEPA filter that fits this vacuum. (Given how much dirt this vacuum picks up, I'll need this pretty soon!)

When I purchased 2 items, it seems that shipping should have been in seperate packages since I paid 2 times the shipping charge. The filters are great as I knew they would be.
