I bought the 4-pack of filters, because I keep the air cleaner in my bedroom and it does a Great job and has almost eliminated my allergies! I also can't understand why the filters cost so much....they are small and only last a month or two before you need to replace them. I have found them at Target and at Ace Hardware.....but they are always $20 each. So basically we are getting $10 off on the 4 pack...plus no tax or postage, if you use the 1-click feature.
As for as buying gas....you could only buy about 5 gallons of gas and with all the gas hogs on the road polluting the air....you really need the air cleaners, so at least at night you can breath clean air....

The filters seem to last a pretty long time (6-8 months?), but are expensive to replace. Might want to look into other air purifiers which have less expensive replacement filters.

I've owned other air purifiers and this one is so much better. As to the cost of the filters, the cost for this model is less than any filter for other air purifiers I've owned.
Because of my living situation (apartment with cheap carpet/cheap paint) I wanted a purifier that would help keep down odors as well as whatever environmental 'bugs'that might be hanging around. Within 12 hours of turning on the purifier , I noted a big difference in air quality. Thanks Filtrete!

Quality name brand Filtrete, not some off brand make. I like having multiple filters so I'm not constantly ordering.

I'm giving this 3 stars. Yes, these filters do their job in my dusty loft apartment. But they don't last particularly long, and their price is stiff to say the least. 4 stars for performance, 2 stars for price.

Also they do a terrible job marking the air purifier unit itself and the proper replacement. The wrong manual came with my unit and I had to do a lot of hunting to find the right filter.

Great price on these filters when buying the 4-pack. I didn't realize how dirty this world is until I changed my filter. Thank you Fridge Filters and Amazon.

I got a double pack of these purifiers on [...]. I love them, they are quiet, tell me when to replace the filter, provide the right amount of white noise for the bedroom, and fit in well with my decor.

The filters are pricey, but that is because they work. These are some of the best reccomended for allergens - and as a painter (toxic chemicals in the house all the time) and cat owner (nuff said) - I really can tell when I have forgotten to turn one on.

They do work best in a closed space - like most air filters - so I keep the bedroom closed up and that one on 24/7.

I have been looking for this particular type of filter in stores for a while and had no luck. I was delightfully surprised to find out how quickly the product arrived.

So, what can one say about a filter? I guess an expert could say a great deal, but I'm not an expert. The company shipped the filters quickly. The filters fit the frame. The filters get "dirty" in a few days. It does what I expected.
