1.0 out of 5 stars Very, Very Disappointed
Nouri and Gabe are no Scarlett and Rhett. I couldn't even finish their story or get a good grasp on their personalities for all the grammar and mistakes in this book. I don't think it was edited at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting, Suspenseful Read to the Last Page!, March 5, 2003

This review is from: Le Fin (Lambert) (Paperback)
Fans and those new to the Lambert Mystery Series! Victoria Taylor Murray has given us a set of four books, taking our heroine, beautiful Nouri Sommers, on a breathtaking roller coaster ride of page-turning, nail-biting suspense and mystery as she and a colorful cast of characters blend together in a final, exciting conclusion to the Lambert Series, appropriately titled, Le Fin. If the reader assumes he has the events in the plot "all figured-out",he must think again! There are ongoing, unexpected twists and turns as Le Fin continues to weave fast-paced excitement, suspense, and mystery in a conclusion to the series that holds the reader on the edge of his seat to the last satisfying page! I highly recommend this book for all readers and especially those who love an exciting and suspenseful mystery! Now available to all, the last intriguing "attention-holding" book of the Lambert series, Le Fen. Don't miss it!

5.0 out of 5 stars This writer is a winner and so is her Lambert series!, April 25, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Le Fin (Lambert) (Paperback)
This new writer is a winner and so is her Lambert series! I wanted to wait to post my opinion of Ms. Murray's "5 Star Best-Selling" Lambert series until after I had a chance to read all four books in the set and let me tell you each and every book was worth the wait! I think she has a real winner on her hands! I felt like I was a part of the ongoing soap opera from Thief of Hearts through Le Fin and of course the two other books in-between. I became so familiar with all of her fun characters that now the series has ended I feel sort of sad, almost like I am moving away from friends. I will miss Nouri, Gabe, Charles, Tonya, Clint, Tori, and Mai Li. I have my fingers crossed that Victoria Murray will bring her fun characters back in another few books. I, for one, would love that!

5.0 out of 5 stars From Thief of Hearts through Le Fin..., April 5, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Le Fin (Lambert) (Paperback)
From book one through book 4 in the Lambert series, I had a ball. I loved the colorful cast of characters and I hope this writer brings them back again soon. My favorite (of course) was Nouri and Gabe although I thought Clint was a cutie too. I really would like to see another few books in this fun series. I thought (even though) the ending was a fitting one...I would still like to see how things turned out for Clint Chamberlain and Nouri Sommers (if anything) I mean, I know Nouri and Gabe Baldwin got married and all and I know they seem perfect for one another but even so I would still like to see Nouri and Clint say goodbye properly. I would also like to see Nouri get her memory back. And I would also like to see if Charles Mason was really able to finally say goodbye to Nouri and move on in his new life with Tonya Daughtery. (A lot left to work with if Ms. Murray really wanted too revisit her pretend island paradise of LAMBERT.) HINT HINT!

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh My God, I Never Guessed It Would End This Way!!!!!, May 7, 2003
This review is from: Le Fin (Lambert) (Paperback)
I have read all four books of the Lambert Series, and I never would have guessed the ending! Trust me you just have to pick up the book and read it.

This is the fourth and final book in the Lambert series and I am so sad to see this series come to an end. Nouri and company have been highly entertaining, and if this series had been on T.V. it would have swept the ratings for sure.

In the final book aptly named Le Fin (The Ending) all of the loose ends between Nouri, Gabe, Charles, Tonya, Clint, and Renea are tied up. I won't go into any details, since that would spoil it for you especially if you have been dedicated to reading the entire series, suffice to say as stated earlier Nouri and company are taken on a rollercoster ride for the final book that will leave you speechless. I laughed and cried a few times with the characters! Always a good sign of an excellent book if you can feel the characters emotions. It's a good thing this book came in the mail before my finals week or I probably would not have do so well otherwise. I did not put this book down until the last page! Hurry Victoria, and pen that next great book! I look forward to stepping into your make-believe world again!

I, for one, am sorry to see the Lambert series end. I, thought this new writer did an excellent job in her first attempt as a writer. I, will most certainly keep my eyes open for more novels by Ms. Murray. I, applaud her effort in such a tough field to try and break into.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bassackwards!, October 18, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Le Fin (Lambert) (Paperback)
I started this series bassackwards (assbackwards.) I ordered a copy of this book at random because of the great looking cover, I seldome read what is written on the jackets or others reviews of a book as far as that goes. Anywho, in just the first few pages I found myself lost inside the world of Nouri Sommers and Gabe Baldwin, and I loved each and every page of it -- after the first few chapters of Le Fin, I got to know some of the leading characters, I was hooked...I knew I would have to first see how the series ended but I also knew I would have to see how it all began and how each book in the series played out. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED IN THE LEAST!!! I'm most happy to recommend The Lambert Series in its entirety! Victoria Murray has become an author that I will eagerly be on the lookout for!

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Ending!, April 17, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Le Fin (Lambert) (Paperback)
The final book in this writer's Lambert series is unique. I loved it! Ms. Murray does an excellent job in putting all the pieces together to her four-part mystery, plus, she left it at a point to where she could revisit Lambert if she wanted to. And, I, for one, hopes she does exactly that! EXCELLENT SERIES!
