5.0 out of 5 stars Long overdue!, March 28, 2003
By MtlGod (Boynton Beach, Florida United States) - See all my reviews
Hellwitch is one of South Florida's best kept secrets. They never quite received the full attention they deserved, at least in my humble opinion. I have owned the "Syzigial Miscreancy" album on CD for a few years now, and it is great to see it re-released here with all of the demo material. Fans of technical death or thrash will find much to rejoice about here! Dizzying guitars, blasting drums, intricate songwriting... it's all here! Totally classic material for fans of Death, Slayer, Atheist, or just death/thrash in general. I actually had the good fortune to see these guys perform, and I've been hooked ever since. Long live Hellwitch!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pat Ranieri-The Real Red Rocker , February 24, 2007
Well,I got a burn of this cd from Wayne,Pat knows who I'm talkin about,I've been corressponding with Pat for 10 plus years now,and he is truly one of the great shredders of the underground, even if his hair is now Red,I mean REALLY RED.Anyway, this bootleg copy I have is phemonenal, and the 2 personal classics are "Nosferatu" and "Torture chamber".These songs have great hooks and the chorus from Chamber is still stuck in our heads.Every so often me and a friend will just scream out the 3 Low E chords Dun! Dun! Dun! and then hollar "torture chamber" as only Pat can deliver it.The songs "Final Approach" and "Epitome of Disgrace" come from the '98 rehearsals when Hellwitch did a show with Deicide. These shows from '98 and practically the entire Hellwitch LIve Video Catalog is available at Pauly Bee's Video madness on DVD.This is Pat's personal site, and he is highly thought of in the video industry,he was a personnal contributor to the Megadeth-Behind the Music DVD,Look 4 his name in the credits.Anyway, if you like your death metal OLD SCHOOL style, this is the band, and no one will regret purchasing this epic release.
