5.0 out of 5 stars Why the Islam-Israeli conflict leads to the last world war
Hal Lindsey is certain that the Cold War's end means the Islamic movement's horrible climax. He traces the roots of Islam's hatred of Israel to two biblical characters whose existence is accepted by both Jews and Arabs. Today Islamic nations are aligning with world powers to utterly destroy Israel. In the process, the remaining nations will be drawn into The Final Battle...

3.0 out of 5 stars interesting historical data and conclusions based on them
Three stars due to: 1. poor grammar in many places; 2. excessive typographical errors; 3. repeats too much of book, e.g. could have said the same thing with as much force in half the pages. His conclusions seem logical based upon history and biblical readings as he interprets them. Although the idea of the vindictive God he portrays does not send me running to that...

5.0 out of 5 stars Why the Islam-Israeli conflict leads to the last world war, February 20, 1997

In the process, the remaining nations will be drawn into The Final Battle. Lindsey's prophetic analysis is compared to that of a respected world intelligence analyst and found to be identical. Fascinating and frightening

5.0 out of 5 stars CHILLINGLY RELEVANT TO OUR TIMES, April 1, 1999

Even if you are not a Christian, this book will amaze you. The parallels between the prophecies in the Bible and the events in our world can't be denied. Read this book, if for no other reason than intellctual stimulation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the read, October 4, 2002

This book combines Hal Lindsey's ability to write for the non technical reader, with De Coursy's respected research to make for a great read. As another reviewer mentioned, there is some pointless redundancy, but for the most part, the book is chock full of usable information, as opposed to random end-times fluff.

I recommend it. But you may want to save you money and just buy Hal's newer book The Everlasting Hatred, which is probably [just guessing here] an update to this book.

But the truely amazing thing is how deadly accurate this book is...I am sitting here rereading it in Jan. 2003, and it still sounds like todays newspaper! So it is not dated - the information is still relevent and accurate.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent resource for the end times, February 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Final Battle (Paperback)
"The Final Battle" is the best book on end times prophecy and tribulation times available. Mr. Lindsey has expertly given the facts revealed in the Bible and applied them to the world events of today. Every fact or theory presented is well worded, providing for no possibility of confusion. The purpose of this book is primarily for revealing facts about Revelation and certain passages from other books of the Bible. An added bonus: Show it to your non-Christian aquaintances to scare them with the facts of what non-Christians will have to go through. The disasters will scare anyone.

I have been a faithful fan of Hal's since the 1970's. Granted i put his books aside for several decades but his words always haunted me. Now that i have re-read them and have read more of Hal's books it becomes more and more sobering of what is going on in our world right now and not for the better.I feel like i have made my piece with God or at least i hope i have. His critics have always tired to find fault with Hal's writings but you only have to read the newspaper or watch the news to be constantly reminded of the evil that is getting it's grips tighter and tighter on us humans. I believe we will suffer, all of us that are living in this generation. We need to find piece within ourselves before it is to late. Thanks Hal for putting this black & white in front of our face. Hope we take the warning.

By A Customer
This review is from: The Final Battle (Paperback)
Mr. Lindsey has complied a 90%accurate information regarding the end-time!!!! Time is the most important factor for all events to inter-link. 1998 is 1 year closer! In fact, this year is very important for further development. This book can gives you a good account of end-times for all who are interested. I highly recommend it! We all should study God's calendar & His Words daily. Shalom.

5.0 out of 5 stars This was written before 9/11, April 1, 2010

This review is from: The Final Battle (Paperback)
This book is one of the best descriptions of what Islam really is, and it's hatred against the Jew. This book, which was written in 1995, accurately describes and predicted conflicts that have already occurred. I think this is one of Hal's finest books, although I disagree with some of the eschatology, for instance, he thinks that the Ez 38, 39 war is the actual Final Battle, which this is clearly not the case. However, the descriptions of the countries surrounding Israel and the coming conflict he describes in perfect detail. He was warning about the dangers of Islamic fundamentalism/extremism in Afghanistan, the surrounding central Asia (ex Soviet) Muslim states, the Islamic takeover in European countries (UK, France, etc), well before most people even had heard of them until 9/11 already took place. Probably the most accurate description/predictions were the role of Iran (Persia), just look at them today for yourself. Great read, highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars more drivel designed to spread hatred and enrich Hal, June 17, 2005
This review is from: The Final Battle (Paperback)
Again, Mr. Lindsey writes a book that contains his vision of the end times psycho drama. This guy doesn't quit and for good reason. He's found a lucrative niche starting with "Late, Great Planet Earth". He adjusts his interpretation of scripture to fit his twisted view of the endtimes every few years and writes a new book.
There is one constant and that is his "everlasting hatred" toward Muslims, and most particularly Palestinians. This stuff sells well as there is a large bloc of Christians who desperately need something to hate to sustain their faith. Skip this book and read the Bible yourself. Hal isn't a source for any truth.
