This CD is Quite expensive but it includes three tracks from Falco's Emotional album which is my favorite Falco album .It was never issued on a CD in this country for reasons unknown. It's frustrating because ALL of his other stuff IS available. It's just unfortunate that you have to pay such a high price for all the hits. It does include such fine classics as "Vienna Calling", "Rock Me Amadeus", "Der Kommissar", "Jeanny", and "Junge Roemer" but leaves off ALL singles from the Wiener Blut album. I guess it's a no win situation. Listen to "Emotional", "The Sound Of Muzik" and "Coming Home (Jeanny Part 2)" and you too will wish that the Emotional album was released on CD.

This collection is an inexpensive overview of Falco's career. The music, new wave synth pop, sounds quite european. Yes, it is a compilation of an Austrian star singing in German. This is not a suprise to most. If you wish to enjoy some instant 80s nostalgia, pop the cd in.
"Der Kommisar" is sung in German. It is not the cover performed by AFTER THE FIRE. Hear it as it was meant to be... by the original artist.

I actually found this cd for less than half the price while vacationing in germany. so finding out how much I would have to pay here in the US let me know I chose the right one. I love the album pamphlet; its covered with great pix and every song is better than the last one.

Push push is a great motivational song for any type of aerobic exercise. In fact I first heard this song by Falco in an exercise class at my local gym but I never knew who did that song. I even took a voice recorder to the class just so I could record the song so I would have it when I was on the elliptical trainer. But of course it was of poor quality and I was always hoping that someday I would find out who the artist was saying. It wasn't until recently when I discovered an app from the istore called Sound Hound. All you have to do is press on the screen of Sound Hound when whatever music it is that you want to find out who does it is playing, and within 15 seconds it not only tells you the song and the artist but also the album, along with lyrics, how cool is that? So I highly recommend this CD only for that song push push which will help you to PUSH your heart rate up for at least the duration of the song.

And if you search around on Amazon you should be able to find this CD for round $25 or less.

Great CD for Falco lovers! I thought it was a little bit expensive but I ordered it anyway. It worth it!
My favourites Jenny, Out of The Dark, Emotional, Naked - and german language Egoist, Ganz Wien.

This one is wonderful. I have some of the tunes here but I love it just the same.

Seriously? You want me to review a CD that I have not been able to listened to yet because I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT!!!!

That is sort of rude don't you think? Let's see I purchased it on 2/10/11 and this is 3/15/11. What's up with that?

I'm rating the CD in the middle range, because, although it's a decent CD for die-hard FALCO fans familiar with his German-speaking hits, it is somewhat misleading to call it his "BEST" when it fails to include those versions of his music English-speaking fans are obviously going to be looking for.

I'm a collector of music of all kinds, and hoped to add FALCO's "Der Kommisar" and "Amadeus" hits to my CD collection. I have to say I was very dissapointed when I recieved this CD. Normally, Amazon has samples of each track so one can click "Listen" and check to see if the music on a CD is what one is looking for. NOT SO with FALCO (at least not at the time I placed my order).

So, I took a chance and ordered, thinking the low used price to be a bargain. Unfortunately, it turns out that, except for a couple of songs I'm not particularly interested in, the cuts are ALL IN GERMAN ONLY. Thus, the whole CD is of no use to someone like myself who is looking for the versions I heard on MTV back in the eighties. I find it strange to title a greatest hits collection "The Ultimate Best" and not even include the two best-known versions of his hits.

To make things worse, the version of "Der Kommissar" on this CD is a REMIX called "Kommisar 2000", and is so distorted and re-worked that it bears very little resemblance to his original ENGLISH hit I was attempting to add to my collection.

If you're looking for the original version of FALCO's signature hits IN ENGLISH, look elsewhere.
