Completely terrible. Tough guy lyrics thrown together with a band that doesn't know exactly what the hell kind of sound they're attempting to accomplish. A huge disappointment.

I came across Arise & Ruin late last year via Pandora (and a video on Headbanger's Ball) - and it was already too late. I've read online that the band has split up, and I think that's unfortunate.Long story short: Great album, great passion - specifically on "To The Grind". Hopefully they'll reconsider their decision to split, and will get back together to make great music like this.

this almost sounds like Impending Doom,

Arise and Ruin almost sounds like Impending Doom. picture Impending Doom turning down their brutal death metal sound a notch and you have the idea of what A and R sounds like. Victory Records needs more bands like this. the songs are between 2 and 3 minutes long-not too short and not too long. if you like metalcore, hardcore, death metal, and thrash metal, this definitely belongs in your collection.
